Happy Father's Day

The very first Father's Day was celebrated on July 5, 1908 in Fairmont, West Virginia.  A bill was introduced in Congress in 1913 to officially recognize the celebration, but defeated on a couple of occasions.  It was not until 1972 that then President Richard Nixon made Father's Day an official holiday.

Happy Father's Day to all those hard working Dads out there.  Enjoy your day!  And for you dead beat Dads...well you know.
